Beach Babes!

I meant to do this post earlier but have been a little short on time, so here it is.
Father's Day was a gorgeous day here in Duluth and we took full advantage of it by heading to the beach.

Max absolutely loves the beach and we soon learned that Lila does too. Seeing as how swimming lessons had just ended Max could not wait to get into the water. Now this is Lake Superior so the water temp is slightly cooler then the pool temp (actually it's freezing) but that didn't stop Max (or Lila for that matter). He spent his time at the beach running back and forth into the water, but he made sure to take a few breaks to perfect his swimming techniques, "scoop and kick, scoop and kick."

 As I mentioned Lila also loved the water and once she got her first taste it became a constant game of chasing her back and forth. I have a cute video to post but that's for another day, no promises as to how soon it will be up. In the meantime here's some pics to enjoy.

Yes he can spell his name and had fun writing it in the sand too.
