Nothing exciting to report here this week. Just a busy week due to work and class. By now you can probably tell which weeks are more busy for us due to the lack of blog posting.
Halloween is all the rage around here. The decorations are up and the costumes have been decided on. Both are equally excited about dressing up to trick or treat for candy. Ugh candy, there's been so much candy around here I could puke.
Today was the first Friday Max has had off from school and we took full advantage by getting out of the house this morning to head to the Tweed Museum for "Family Day." It was fun, free, and full of art projects to work on. Both kids love to draw and paint so this was PERFECT! And did I mention it was FREE?! You can't beat the freebies around town. We did our fair share of painting and making collages, along with going on a scavenger hunt. Lila was quite popular with the student photographers and luckily she was well behaved.
Our weekend ahead looks nice, full of sun and average fall temps. Weekend plans include a get together with the Sharrows(we're long overdue), hunting(that's all Josh), church, Sunday School, and hockey practice. That's a lot to squeeze into 2 days but somehow we make it work.
Have a GREAT weekend!
Homemade apple crisp served right out of the oven over vanilla ice cream. YUM!
Local store with great vintage finds, new find was the old ship lamp for Max's room. Creating some art. Pumpkins around the house. And bunnies along for the car ride.
