season's end.

We packed up this weekend and headed north to Silver Bay both Saturday and Sunday for the final hockey jamboree. He did it, he completed his first season of hockey with no complaints along the way.

It's been fun watching these little guys play. We were able to meet some new families along the way and the experience was nothing but positive.

We could not have asked for a better weekend as the weather was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Sunny and fifty degrees, it doesn't get much better then that the second weekend in March, especially in our neck of the woods.

We started the weekend off bright and early, hitting the road at 9am for an 11 o'clock game. We had plenty of time to spare between the two games which worked out perfect. Not only did it allow us time for our team potluck it also allowed us time to hike on up to Palisade Head and swing by Tettegouche State Park before making our back.

I wish our entire winter was like this, if so I'd be outside everyday.

Graffiti love.

Truckin our way up hill made us realize just how out of shape we are but it was worth it, check out that view.

As Max put it "this is BEAUTIFUL!"

After game two we made the drive back home with a pit stop along the way.

A local favorite.

I couldn't pass up a piece of blueberry cream pie.
